Style the Nation : Show 2 behind the scenes

For very early on a Saturday morning we are very full of beans... Must be my morning banana...

With the excitement of having the one and only Dappy on the show, I thought I'd lure his hotness to my dressing room by donning an Adidas tracksuit...it didn't work... I didn't even get a photo...

So not one to feel defeated I went and tracked down the male models!

A bit dry so the hunt continues to our very own 'Joey Essex' look-a-like-but-way-fitter- Runner-coincidentally-also-called-Joe, bit of a mouth full...I cope....

YAY me and Kat posing infront of the press boards showing off our fancy live show outfits...

T4 Live Show Week 2

Alexis, its week two of T4's New Look : Style the Nation , and that means you have to select another contestant....

 

 But seriously first things first....

 So I pick Dina from the Cardif crew - I like that shes apparently got 'the chat' ...

 

This snazzy little number im wearing above is by super duper designer Yang Du !

"Hiya Dina, nice kitchen, so your brief is androgyny, lets do it!..."

 

Dina and I hit the high street hard but I felt it was time to hit some where a little more one - off ...

 

And please note how dashing my coat and matching t-shirt is by designer Katie Eary

Off I toodle pipped to have a big bath... once i found my way out of my Jeremy Scott

for Adidas tshirt...

Day 2 and my Venti Skinny Chai Tea Latte wispers to me that we are still on the high street...

 

OH NO, tears, its really really tough doing this competition and I bet it looks real easy when your sat at home, so I gave Dina a big hug as Mama Mentor.

 My Jaimaca tie die dress is from Beyond Retro and my leather bomber jacket is by Adidas

So we tracked down a vintage shop and had great success!!!

 Next thing we knew our outfits were done and we were at the live show! 

Watching the outfits go down the catwalk back stage....

The moment of truth....

Agh we lost :(

T4 Style the Nation - Me & Caia

All work no play....um

Caia who I mentored for the first weeks show of T4's New Look : Style the Nation

And I had a bonding session over our love for the Spice Girls!

Zigga zig aaaaaa!

Day two and it was bonding over head gear....

Beddiebyes with my favourite purchase of Caias which was Nigel the Tiger Bag...

 So i sat for about an hour attempting to screen grab some snap shots from the first show to give you the D'lo....

The intro in my rockin Kokon to Zai dress.....

 Picking our contestant in a Kokon to Zai tshirt dress....

 So then Caia and I hit the shops with 3oo spondoolies and 48 hours to come up with 3 smashing looks to win over u... the genny p... thats general public....

 Rocking my Nike Destroyer 'London'jacket and you guessed it...Kokon to Zai trousers...

So we decide to get arty with the scissors.....

 Whilst Caia sews into the night I tell you how to get the festival look....amazing clothes pulled by the talented stylist Natalie Hubbard...

 Animal hood by Spirit Hoods which i love and sunglasses by Claires

and believe it or not dress by the one and only major KOKON TO ZAI!!!!.....

 Any one spot me pulling this charming face.....

 So its the next day and....

 Concentrating face....and im thinking...im thinking "where is my jacket from?"....hmmmm....

oh yeah.....

KOKON TO ZAI!

 So we are in the studio and that Sophie Ellis Bexter girl only went and threw a last minute challenge at poor Caia...whooooooo smashed it!

 My dress is from Rokit.

So the genny ps have voted and the winner is.....

 YAYA CAIA!!!!WELL DONE!!!!!

Saturday saw the first in the series of T4's LIVE new show...drum roll please....
NEW LOOK : STYLE THE NATION!

Featuring Nick Grimshaw,Giles Deacon, New Looks amazing Barbara Horspool, mentor and style guru Kat Byrne and gimpy me!

And the huuuge major stage and live audience who we penned in as they are rather rowdy over Grimmers...
